For the 90s a stellar representation of the music made by drag queens who often faced disproportionate challenges in their ability to enter the music world. On its own merit a solid 90s house project with both commercial appeal and loyalty to the roots/structure of house music. -
Super punchy and bright bass on title track. Got for a good price on eBay. Even with pops the track sounds insanely good. A truly iconic breakout album from the supermodel of the world herself. Pre-frack Ru was really something. -
Tommy Boy reissues exclusive limited edition pressing of RuPaul's "Supermodel of the World" on December 10, 2021, as part of Tommy Boy's 40th anniversary celebration.
