Edited 4 years agoI love this record! Last time I listened I realized it is a pretext to the Happy Mondays thing and latter house music the Beatles sent off with "Tomorrow never knows" (They have that easy backbeat here too). Overall the record lands in an immense sadness because their happiness the entire record is about and what then happened.

I bought my copy of this LP shortly after Lennon's death, when interest in the album had suddenly skyrocketed. As such, all I can assume is the record presser was under the gun to meet the unexpected demand, as my copy has side one pressed on both sides. The label is correct, it's just the vinyl that's duplicated. I've kept it as my only copy because it feels somehow historically significant, though I'm not sure why. does anyone know anything about this? Is this valuable at all? curious.

The first song skips every few seconds "Just Like Starting Over" very strange, as the record itself looks perfect and I cleaned both the record and needle.
