A couple of choons that fit equally well in an atmo or tech step set. Quite an achievement! -
'Sonar' featuring the Tramen.............what a massive break, add in huge Reece bass is your face and some amazing simple melodies to wrap it all up. Monstrous tune. -
Edited 3 years agoI never felt this way? If you cannot physically drum... Then Trace is your gateway to drum programming and synths.... Since 1991 he was been consistent and fucking 1000% Ask Bizzy B x And if you think this is a sonic war today....Then you should check 1980 to 1992 then go back to the first record ever produced on shellac... Then go forward to ALL the in between bits of ALL music.................... DNB HIP HOP FUNK DUB DARK N LIGHT ............. And then JUNGLE TECHNO that fills in all the gaps....Electronically yours or mine...Peace -
Sphere is the 303 stepper to end all. This is the one for me on here. Optical shines through well and he hit a level of sci fi minimalism on Sphere that was out of this world really.

Sonar is a monstrous classic techstep but Sphere is nonetheless a great tune and a bit underrated imo.

Trace's "Sonar" tune is dark and heavy. One of the best d&b tunes I've ever heard and I heard this track on Drum & Bass Arena with Randall.. Also a Mampi Swift tape from 1998 at Helter Skelter... Excellent tune!
