"Thurston Hearts the Who" was recorded live on April 4th 1992 at the Sanctuary Theater, Washington D.C.) (except for thurston hearts the who: tobi sings and kathleen plays drums, then they switch so kathleen sings and tobi plays drums and erica screams-also molly germs does vocals too, ie reading lame article into microphone...)

Essential! The original 1992 pressing has a sideways K in the dead wax near the label…I think that’s about the only way to tell between the 2004. I’d bet several of the 2.2k ppl who “have” this actually have the repress.

Edited 7 years agoCould you imagine a song that would sound like "I Wanna Be Your Dog" but more mean, dangerous, vicious, with a double-level of both rock'n'roll anger and deep feminist pain, and a fabulous crescendo of venomous rage?
Well "Feels Blind" is that song.
Kathleen Hanna is a feminist/LGBT fighter and icon for many reasons, great inspiration to a lot of queer warriors out there and often held as a social/political figure but in this awesome song she shows what she is first and above all : a rock'n'roll goddess!
Iggy and all males can consider her with fear and respect, as i doubt there is a more poisonous and threatening rock song in existence.
Oh and "Suck My Left One" ain't bad either.
