Hi-hats sound a bit harsh in places, but don't know if it was originally so, or if it is some kind of digital distortion, or a result of a mastering treble boost. Maybe it's just my system. Otherwise excellent.

Very detailed sound quality on this release. Pressing is lovely too.
I made a needledrop of one of the tracks from this vinyl record - You can find it on the right side in the videos - Under the name: Jeff Beck - Air Blower (Blow By Blow) (2010 European Vinyl)

I own this reissue along with the KPG Friday and AP 45rpm releases, it is a favourite record of mine after all. This actually renders the other two expensive and almost pointless. This one is actually - at £20 - the best pressing of the three for vinyl quietness. No BS! The FM is the noisiest. The AP is noisier than the MOV but is abit higher in volume to compensate. SQ wise, once all audiophoolery of whether its from the OG tapes or not is out the way what are we left with???? Well, the AP sounds the best. Yep, it just does. Biggest and most lively and lifelike. The FM is good but nothing special. However the MOV in isolation sounds great in its own right and all the more so considering the price. I would be more than happy had this been the only one i had. The album is so well recorded its probably not possible to release a bad sounding version but combined with the quality of the press and the sane price the MOV almost has to win by default overall for offering such satisfying value. Nothing against forking out for the others but you wont get the best actual pressing. It is quite amazing what Record Industry can achieve as such.
YMMV as ever! -
A stunningly good reissue from Sony MOV. Perfect pressing and excellent cover. This one sounded better than my original. My copy is the 2010 MOV re-issue.
