Loving this. As far as instrumental hip hop goes, this is right up there.
I'm guessing Dexter has listened to a fair bit of Madlib, but at no time does this feel like a derivative copy of Otis Jackson Jr - Dexter manages to bring his own sense of freshness, soul and humour (care of Simon Pegg!). Clearly his love of jazz runs deep.
Deserves to be better known.
