"Melancholia", "Circles", "Behind Blue Eyes", "The Magic Bus", "Mary", "Goin' Fishin'" and "Love Reign O'er Me" are my favorite tracks on this double LP collection of demos from Pete Townshend. Some songs are more fleshed out and fully formed than others, but in sum it makes for one of Townshend's most listenable and enjoyable solo releases. This pressing sounds fine, the earliest demos obviously sound more primitive, but nothing sounds bad, and the vast majority of the material sounds quite good. My copy plays nice and clean throughout, with virtually no surface noise.

Very under appreciated set of Pete demos.
Great stuff!! Highly recommended to anyone who likes 70’s Pete solo stuff. -
