I was 18 years old when The Who released their first album in '65. But by then I was firmly locked in, to The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. Then The Moody Blues, Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin appeared. Somehow The Who didn't factor in quite so much with me. But they were always there, on FM, and I finally woke up in '71 to "Who's Next". About the same time I hear "Live At Leeds". I have to it that it was that version of "Magic Bus" that finally did it. What an absolutely awesome band! Now I have a serious digital collection of The Who's music, but only "Who's Next" and "Live At Leeds" on vinyl.
I agree with the comments already given below. The quality of sound, the pressing, and the personal feeling of being there. And as far as the minimal extra amount of unwanted noise goes, I find that the volume knob on my amp deals with that quite well. The Who always did like it played loud anyway, didn't they? No regrets buying this record. Just what I needed! A classic for sure. -
Really like the quality of this reissue. Great quality pressing. Feels like you are there in Leeds!!

Side one is pretty quiet and side two isn’t too bad, just had a little surface noise especially at the beginning of track 2. But overall a very nice sounding reissue with lots of warmth and good bass and treble. Not disappointed with the copy. If it were a little more on the quiet side, I’d have given it 4 stars.
