Zappa coined the expression "The Grand Wazoo" back in 1969, recording a song of that title with Frank Zappa - The Lost Episodes, although it is quite dissimilar to the other 3 versions of "The Grand Wazoo" track.

Nice sounding record; organic and spacious, with texture and good dynamic tange. Mastering is great. Well done, Bernie. The jacket kinda sucks though. -
Edited 4 months agoNice pressing. Picked it up today. It's been great to get back to Zappa's '66 to '75 output. That 10 year period was his golden age. I got into Zappa in the 80s and listened, almost exclusively, to his output from that decade. I can't stand most of it now. I wish I'd been listening to this back than. A glorious noise. -

Flat and quiet wax, Sounds better than my OG copy. 100$ recommend picking up a copy -
Surely a digital remix would make the SPARS code ADD, not the AAD stated on the liner notes. -

As of 7th October 2023 the Sound Of Vinyl website in the UK has 27 copies left of this LP priced at a very reasonable £29.99. No problems with channel noise or hissing. -
On my copy of 2022 black vinyl, there is some distortion during pressing failure on Blessed Relief, last track on side two. The rest of the album sounds stunning.

Fine sounding reissue! Found the original version to sound a bit nervous. This remaster has a more jazz feeling to it. Bass is more present and instruments are far more individually recognizable. Dead quiet vinyl. Great pressing!
