Yes Featuring Jon Anderson, Trevor Rabin, Rick Wakeman

Profile:

"Yes Featuring Jon Anderson, Trevor Rabin, Rick Wakeman" (or Yes Featuring ARW) are a progressive rock band formed by singer Jon Anderson, guitarist and singer Trevor Rabin, and keyboardist Rick Wakeman, three former of Anderson, Rabin & Wakeman" (ARW). An album of new music was considered but put on hold to concentrate on touring; their debut worldwide tour, "An Evening of Yes Music and More", began in October 2016 and continued through to 2017, with bassist Lee Pomeroy and drummer Lou Molino III.
Since the death of Chris Squire in 2015, Jon Anderson remained the sole owner of the Yes name, which, as founder member of the band, he legally co-owned with Squire. So in April 2017, following Anderson, Rabin and Wakeman being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as part of Yes, the trio announced their intention to use the Yes name themselves, but since "another Yes" already existed (being the current line up of Steve Howe, Alan White, Geoff Downes, Billy Sherwood, and Jon Davison continuing after Squire's death) an agreement was reached that they would only use the name Yes only in conjunction with the name of the trio, in order to avoid the confusion of having two different Yes bands at the same time. And so "Yes Featuring Jon Anderson, Trevor Rabin, Rick Wakeman" was born.
