Clair Dietrich

Real Name:

Clair Dietrich

Profile:

"Clair Dietrich's genealogy includes a studied musician and soprano as mum, a graphic deg dad and a writing grandpa. Being a rational being, and keeping her mother's broke musician friends in mind, she decides to follow the graphical branch. She doesn't manage to fool destiny though, and instead finds herself at a small, private party one night, tipsy and bold enough to sing along to some old jazz tune. The bloke playing the guitar, Petros Michalas, asks her to form a jazz combo with him (HOTEL), and the following gigs at Frankfurts off-locations call the attention of Markus Nikolai (Perlon), as well as Christian Rindermann, aka c/rock (Stir15, Lofi Stereo). With Markus, Clair then records famous "Bushes", which is later remixed by Norman Cook. With c/rock, she produces the "Rich Diet e.p.", a 3-piece 10" jewel. By now, she has worked with Swayzak (Make Up Your Mind, Sob1), Glance (Time), the Glissando Bros. (Even Better), Fous de la Mer (Cosmic Lullaby, All These Years), Golden Boy (to be released), and others. Currently, Clair is working on her solo album and quite broke."
